What
Just because an invention is made for the market doesn’t mean it didn’t come from profound places of creativity, need, and authorship.
Whether inventing for mass production, for intimate communal use, or for reasons that don’t fit tidy categories—The Inventive and the invention deserve protection. Especially if your body, mind, or heart has survived targeted extraction, disappearance, objectification, or violence.
Whether you are inventing as an act of reclamation, for income, for recognition, or simply because you must—The Threshold recognizes that for bodies in constant contact with erasure, building tools, specially collective tools, is an act of sovereignty. It serves a symbolic function: to protect memory, restore rhythm, and create.
Whether you are holding sacred tech—ritual devices, symbolic structures, or protective mechanisms—or crafting functional or even trendy artifacts, this is a participatory space where The Inventive in you is safe to unfurl.
This space recognizes:
The systems that exist don’t protect us. They flatten us. Or mine us. Or misread us.
The Threshold Collective is being formed to counter this reality.
Who
The Threshold Collective is a nonprofit initiative of Alchemy Inventions.
It is for The Inventive who is:
• Female or nonconforming,
• And/or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color),
• And seeking structural protection, collective authorship and a cooperative model of support.
This first cohort is currently open.
The collective offers the opportunity to co-create a infrastructure where Inventives can find:
• Step-by-step invention support
• IP protection
• Launching support (marketing, business, sales, and outreach)
• Nervous-system-informed, power-aware c0-mentorship
We are not just a launchpad.
We are a guardrail.
Threshold must be built by those who know what creativity feels like from the inside, as well as those who commonly experience various forms of erasure or invisibility so that we may be seen, supported and successful.
The founding architecture must reflect the communities whose inventions are most often misread, mined, or disappeared.

Your ideas remain yours. Your language stays yours. All responses are protected under active IP and symbolic use safeguards.
